Hannah M. Zetterwall, 90, Rockford, died at 3:15 a.m., Sunday, July 15, 2001 at P.A. Peterson Home. Born June 29, 1911 near Varnamo, Smoland, Sweden. She came from Sweden in 1928 and was a Chicago resident until 1996. She married Bertil M. Zetterwall in Chicago, April of 1947. He died in Chicago, Dec. 21, 1995. Hannah worked as a maid in Chicago households. She and Bert were members of Viking Athletic, the Swedish American Museum, Swedish Cultural Society and Svithoid Club, all in Chicago. Survivors include her nephew, Ernie (Ann) Sandquist of Rockford, other nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Sweden. Predeceased by her parents, one brother and three sisters. Graveside services were held at Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the charity of donor's choice. Arrangements by Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapels, Ltd., East Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford, IL.
